The doors of the “Amrit Udyan” (Amrit Udyan) located in the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex are now open to the public. The President’s Secretariat has announced that you can visit this magnificent garden from February 3rd to March 31st.

When and how will I get entry?

Visiting hours for Amrit Udyan are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please note that the deadline for entry is 5:15 PM.

  • Holidays: The park will be closed every Monday for maintenance. It will also be closed on Holi on March 4th.
  • Entry Fee: The best part is that entry to Amrit Udyan is absolutely free for all visitors.

How to book?

You can book your slot to visit the park either online or offline:

  • Online Booking: You can book your visit by visiting the official website visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in (How to book Amrit Udyan tickets online).
  • Offline Booking: If you want to reach there directly, there are self-service kiosks available outside Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan from where you can get your pass.

Shuttle bus service for commuting

Special shuttle bus service has been arranged for the convenience of visitors.

  • Where: From Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35.
  • Timings: This service will be available from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Frequency: Buses will run every 30 minutes.
  • Identification: You can easily identify these buses as they will have a banner saying ‘Shuttle Service for Amrit Udyan’.

What can be taken and what cannot be taken?

For security reasons, only certain items are allowed inside. You may bring the following with you:

  • mobile phone
  • electronic key
  • Purses and Handbags
  • water bottle
  • baby milk bottle
  • Umbrella

Note: No items other than those mentioned above will be allowed inside the park.
