The Surajkund International Handicrafts Fair will begin on January 31st in Surajkund, Faridabad, and will continue until February 15th. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and will feature plenty of activities for children to keep them from getting bored. Small and large swings and toy stalls will also be set up for children.
What will be the theme?
This year, Meghalaya and Uttar Pradesh have been designated as the theme states for the Surajkund Fair, while Egypt is the partner country. The fair will showcase the handicrafts, culture, and famous cuisines of both states. There will be four special food stalls for Meghalaya and Uttar Pradesh, offering the opportunity to sample traditional cuisine.

In addition to the Meghalaya and Uttar Pradesh themes, the Surajkund Fair will also feature food and crafts from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Nagaland. Tickets are required to visit the Surajkund Fair. Adult tickets will cost between ₹120 and ₹150 on normal days, while on weekends they will cost between ₹150 and ₹200. Children under 5 years of age are free. Tickets for children over 5 will cost between ₹60 and ₹100. Separate tickets will be required for the children’s rides.

How to reach here
The nearest metro station to the Surajkund Fair is Badarpur. You can reach Badarpur by metro and take an auto directly to the fair. Bus service is also available from Ballabhgarh. Starting January 31st, buses will run every half hour starting at 7 am, reaching the fair. The bus fare will be 25 rupees. If you are arriving from the airport, you can easily reach the fair by cab.
