Kashi Vishwanath Temple is located in the city of Varanasi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the major pilgrimage sites of Hinduism. By Air: The nearest airport to the temple is Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur. The temple is about 25 km or less than an hour away by road from there. Cabs and buses, public and private, will take you directly from the airport to the temple.

By Rail: The city of Varanasi is well connected by rail, and the temple itself is close to several railway stations. The Varanasi City Station is just 2 km away, and Varanasi Junction is about 6 km from the temple. Mughalsarai Junction Station is the farthest at 17 km, but there is also Maduadih Station about 4 km away. Most of these stations are well connected to major metros in India.

By Road: Varanasi has a fairly large road network, with frequent private and public buses and other road transport services available to all major cities and towns in Uttar Pradesh. The temple can be reached by autorickshaw or taxi, along Vishwanath Gali, a street popular for shops selling delicious sweets, puja items, clothes and fashion jewelry in Varanasi.
