The Gautam Adani-run facility has suggested imposing a User Development Fee (UDF) of Rs 325 for domestic flights and increasing the UDF fee to Rs 650 for international flights. Currently, Mumbai airport charges Rs 187 as UDF fee from international passengers. In such a situation, the price will increase after the new proposal is implemented.
Domestic passengers will not have to pay UDF fee now

For those who don’t know, currently there is no UDF fee for domestic passengers, but Mumbai International Airport is now planning to charge a fee of Rs 325 from domestic passengers as well. According to media reports, the proposed fee card has been sent to the Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) for approval.

UDF i.e. User Development Fee is a kind of charge which is included in the price of flight tickets just like tax and fuel surcharge. In such a situation, if there is an increase in it, then the biggest impact falls on the pockets of the passengers and they may be forced to book flight tickets at a higher price.

Many facilities are provided to the passengers at Mumbai International Airport i.e. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. These include free Wi-Fi, Digi Yatra facility, pre-ordering for food, parking facility and many other facilities. Along with this, passengers can easily get medical facilities ranging from wheelchair assistance here.

For those who don’t know, Mumbai International Airport is the second busiest airport in India. New Delhi Airport comes first. According to media reports, an average of 980 flights are operated daily at Mumbai Airport. The airport has excellent runway systems, terminals and services, which provide a comfortable travel experience to the passengers visiting it.
