The world famous ‘Jagannath Rath Yatra 2023’ has started from yesterday. A lot of faith is being seen in the Jagannath temple of Puri at this time. It is believed that a person gets salvation by participating in this journey. Tell me, this is the only worship in the world in which neither his wife Rukmani nor his beloved Radha is with Jagannath ji.

When Shri Krishna took the name ‘Radhe’ in sleep
There is a popular story related to this, in fact Lord Shri Krishna was once resting in his palace and Queen Rukmini was sitting near his feet, then while taking a turn, the word ‘Radha’ came out of Shri Krishna’s mouth, hearing which Rukmini got very angry. Came. He thought, what is there in Radha, which is not in her, I am with her day and night, yet in spite of this, God is taking Radha’s name in his sleep.
Mother had said something for Krishna and Balram
Rukmini got angry and told the whole thing to her queens, everyone together decided that they would talk to Maa Rohini (Balram and Subhadra’s mother) about this. After this everyone reached mother’s room and told her the whole story. On which mother Rohini said that she will tell everyone about this, but when she talks about this, Krishna and Balram should not come here.
All the queens agreed to this and then asked sister Subhadra to guard the door. As soon as the mother started guarding Radha and Krishna, the sister saw both Lord Shri Krishna and Balram coming towards the room, in such a situation, Subhadra came out of the room to stop them. But Maa Rohini’s voice was going out of the room, her context was so interesting that Subhadra, Krishna and Balram stood at their places and started listening to the context. As they were listening to the context, the body of all three of them started melting and they were half melted.
Narad Muni requested to give darshan
At the same time Narad Muni was surprised to see the wonderful form of God. He prayed to the Lord that his devotees should also see this form of him, and during that time he came in front of everyone in this form. The Lord obeyed Narada and appeared to the devotees through ‘Rath Yatra’ to fulfill his promise.
So that’s why Radha and Rukmini are not
This is the reason why neither his wife Rukmini nor his beloved Radha is with Jagannath ji in the worship of Rath Yatra. Tell me, the idol of all the three Gods installed in the temple is not complete, all three are worshiped in half form.
