A special pilgrimage “Jain Yatra” tour package on Bharat Gaurav AC tourist train will start from Monday, 31 March 2025. Please note, the train will depart from Bandra Terminus on the same day. This tour package will be for eight nights and nine days.

The IRCTC “Jain Yatra” tour will cover a route of 4,500 km, giving devotees an opportunity to visit revered Jain pilgrimage sites including Pawapuri, Kundalpur, Guniaji, Lachhuar, Rajgir, Parasnath, Rujuwalika and Sammed Shikharji before returning to Mumbai.

Bharat Gaurav AC tourist train may depart from Bandra Terminus from March 31, 2025, but today one can catch the train from many railway stations. Depending on the tour package, the train offers multiple options to board and deboard at major stations like Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Bhestan (Surat), Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur and Satna.
750 passengers can travel together in the train

Speaking about the launch of this journey, Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, Western Region, IRCTC, Mumbai, said that this journey has been designed to provide not only a holy pilgrimage but also a comfortable travel experience. The fully air-conditioned 3AC coach is capable of carrying 750 passengers. It includes an onboard kitchen, CCTV cameras and security personnel for the safety of the passengers.

According to IRCTC’s tour package, the price of the ticket per person is Rs 24,930. This includes accommodation in Dharamshalas or budget hotels, all onboard and offboard meals with Jain-special menu, travel insurance.
