Plan Ashtavinayk Darshan with Nishnai Holidays
Religious trips had been an integral part of India. Among all other religious tours, Ashtavinayak Darshan is known to keep up a special place. “Ashtavinayak” refers to the chain of eight Ganesha temples in Maharashtra, portraying the Hindu deity in eight different forms. Each of these Ganesha temples and the idols featured here are known to have distinct meanings and several tales from scriptures that belong to these.
The Ashtavinayak trip moves along the following temples: Moreshwar, Siddhivinayak, Mahaganpati, Girijatmaj, Balladeshwar, Vigneshwar, Varad Vinayak, and Chintamani Vinayak. All of these temples are situated in Pune, Mumbai and Raigad districts of Maharashtra and are very easily accessible from Mumbai and Pune. The Ganesha idol at each temple depicts a different form of Lord Ganesha and all of these are ‘Swayambhu’ i.e. self-originated.
